Exposure Compensation Photo 101
Learn to exposure-compensate. Your camera’s light meter is
easily fooled by non-standard light situations. Look at a
concert where the stage background is pitch black,
and just the band or actors are brightly lit. Your
camera will take the black background into
account when setting the exposure for the
image and most likely over-expose the
people on stage. Setting your
camera to compensate the
exposure will also make
images look better.Photo Failure Photo Tip 82 Imitation Photo Photo Tip 83 Squint Photo Photo Tip 84 Previsualize Photo Photo Tip 85 Self-Critique Photo Photo Tip 86 Photo Into Words Photo Tip 87 Photo Light Tent Photo Tip 88 Floating Air Photo Photo Tip 89 Creative Controls Photo Photo Tip 90 Ghost Town Photo Photo Tip 91 Mood Light Photo Photo Tip 92 Point of View Photo Photo Tip 93 Converging Lines Photo Photo Tip 94 Body Part Photo Photo Tip 95 Digital Zoom Photo Photo Tip 96 Pre-Focus Photo Photo Tip 97 Exposure Photo 101 Photo Tip 98 Exposure Photo 102 Photo Tip 99 White Balance Photo Photo Tip 100 Built-in Flash Photo Photography Tips | Photography Quotes | Photography Articles | Photoshop Tips
